To marry in Sevier County, you must obtain a marriage license from any County Clerk location in Tennessee.  Effective July 15, 2002 the cost in Sevier County is $98.50 (cash only).  If couples complete an affidavit of non-residency or of having participated in a premarital preparation course, the cost of $38.50.  No waiting period or blood tests are required.  Those 18 and older need only provide a valid ID.  Those under 18 need the signature of both parents or guardians.  If you have any questions, contact the County Clerk's office at 865-453-5502.
