THE
ENTERTAINMENT CAPITAL OF THE SMOKIES
In
1986, Dollywood added a new dimension to the tourist appeal in Sevier County,
"home" to Dolly Parton, and now hosts millions of tourists each year.
This
season opened with the new addition "Adventures in Imagination" for the
dreamer in all of us. Using the theme of a rainbow as a yellow brick
road, visitors embark on a journey of discovery. Follow the rainbow
and tour Dolly's new museum "Chasing Rainbows", dedicated to her life.
Using interactive technology, you can dream your dreams as Dolly shares
how the simplest things in life can be opportunities.
As
Dolly herself says, "We might not have had much money growing up, but we
were rich in what was really important, and that's why I want Dollywood
to be full of those same treasures - love, family, laughter, adventure,
dreams, and good old-fashioned red, white, and blue fun." Visit Dollywood
and let your imagination take over.
